Welcome to Watling Nursery!

Nestled in the heart of our vibrant primary school, is our our warm and nurturing Nursery. At our nursery, we care for children aged 2-4. 

Starting nursery is an important milestone in your child’s life and for you as a parent. Our staff are nurturing, friendly and are committed to encouraging your child’s all-round development through play and the learning opportunities we provide. At Watling Lower School we firmly believe that a key factor in helping children develop and achieve, lies in the relationship between home and Nursery and we work hard to ensure there are as many opportunities as possible for parents/carers to work with us.

We offer a safe, stimulating environment where children begin their learning journey through play, curiosity, and discovery. Starting school is a great step forward in your child’s life and we will do all that we can to help you and your child feel welcome. 

Early years’ education builds on a child’s previous knowledge and understanding and our aim is to work with you to support your child’s learning and development. Every child is different and therefore will have different needs. Our early years’ staff are trained to identify where children are and know how to help them progress to their next level.
